WETTBEWERBSREPERTOIRE (english see below)
Für den Internationalen Wettbewerb für Liedkunst 2012 ist folgendes Repertoire vorzubereiten:

10 Lieder von Franz Schubert
Teile aus Liederzyklen sind erlaubt. Die Lieder sind auswendig und in Originalsprache vorzutragen.

10 Lieder von Hugo Wolf
Teile aus Liederzyklen sind erlaubt. Die Lieder sind auswendig und in Originalsprache vorzutragen.

3 Lieder aus der folgenden Liedauswahl mit Werken selten aufgeführter Komponisten
Liedauswahl (PDF zum Download)
Die Lieder sind auswendig und in Originalsprache vorzutragen.

2 Lieder, die nach 1950 komponiert wurden
Teile aus Liederzyklen sind erlaubt. Die Lieder sind auswendig und in Originalsprache vorzutragen. In diesem Fall darf ein nicht deutschsprachiges Lied dabei sein.

Mit der Anmeldung wird von den Teilnehmerinnen/Teilnehmern ein verbindliches Repertoire eingereicht. Nachträgliche Änderungen sind nicht möglich.
 

ABLAUF
Pro Runde darf maximal ein Lied aus einer der vorigen Runden wiederholt werden.

Vorrunde
Sonntag, 30. September 2012 / Montag, 1. Oktober 2011
Orchesterprobenraum, Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart

Aus dem für den Wettbewerb vorbereiteten Repertoire werden insgesamt zwei Lieder (der eigenen Wahl) vorgetragen. Das Programm darf nicht länger als 10 Minuten dauern.

1. Runde
Dienstag, 2. Oktober 2012 / Mittwoch, 3. Oktober 2012
Konzertsaal, Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart
maximal 30 Liedduos

Aus dem für den Wettbewerb vorbereiteten Repertoire werden insgesamt drei Lieder vorgetragen (zwei Lieder werden von der Jury vorgegeben, ein Lied der eigenen Wahl). Das Programm für die 1. Runde wird nach der Vorrunde festgelegt. Das jeweilige Programm darf nicht länger als 15 Minuten dauern.

2. Runde
Donnerstag, 4. Oktober 2012 / Freitag, 5. Oktober 2012
Konzertsaal, Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart
maximal 12 Liedduos

Aus dem für den Wettbewerb vorbereiteten Repertoire werden insgesamt fünf Lieder vorgetragen (drei Lieder werden von der Jury vorgegeben, zwei Lieder der eigenen Wahl). Das Programm für die 2. Runde wird nach dem zweiten Tag der 1. Runde festgelegt. Das jeweilige Programm darf nicht länger als 20 Minuten dauern.

Finale
Samstag, 6. Oktober 2012
Konzertsaal, Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart
maximal 6 Liedduos

Aus dem für den Wettbewerb vorbereiteten Repertoire werden insgesamt acht Lieder vorgetragen (vier Lieder werden von der Jury vorgegeben, vier Lieder der eigenen Wahl). Das Programm für das Finale wird nach dem zweiten Tag der 2. Runde festgelegt. Das jeweilige Programm darf nicht länger als 30 Minuten dauern.

Die Preisträger werden noch am selben Abend bekannt gegeben.
 

Rounds and Repertoire
For the 2012 competition, the following repertoire has to be prepared:

Parts of song cycles are allowed. The songs have to be sung by heart and in the original language.

10 songs by Hugo Wolf
Parts of song cycles are allowed. The songs have to be sung by heart and in the original language.

3 songs chosen from the following selection of songs by rarely performed composers:

The songs have to be sung by heart and in the original language.

2 songs composed after 1950
Parts of song cycles are allowed. The songs have to be sung by heart and in the original language. In this case one song in a language other than German is allowed.

After the registration the submitted repertoire of the participants is binding and cannot be subsequently altered.

Competitors are reminded that photocopying of published material in copyright is illegal, and that singers and pianists may not perform from such music, unless they own original copies.

The jury chooses two songs, the candidates choose one song from the submitted repertoire, so that three songs will be performed. The programme may not be longer than 15 minutes. The
programme of the first 1^st round will be submitted after the end of the preliminary round

2^nd round
Thursday, October 4/Friday, October 5, 2012
Concert Hall, MHS Stuttgart
12 lied duos

The jury chooses three songs, the candidates choose two songs from the submitted repertoire, so that five songs will be performed. The programme may not be longer than 20 minutes. The programme of the first 2^nd round will be submitted after the end of the 1^st round.

3^rd round/final round:
Saturday, October 6, 2012
Concert Hall, MHS Stuttgart
6 lied duos

Both the jury as well as the candidates chooses four songs from the submitted repertoire, so that eight songs will be performed. The programme may not be longer than 30 minutes. The programme of the first 3^rd round will be submitted after the end of the 2^nd round.

The awardees will be announced after the end of the final round. Not more than one song may be repeated between any round.
